Nestled just outside the historic city of Ferrara, Locanda Del Re Sole provides a peaceful retreat for travelers seeking a charming Italian getaway. The spacious room, complete with air conditioning, offered a comfortable stay for me and my furry companion, with the added bonus of free WiFi throughout the property.Although language barriers were present, the friendly host's hospitality shone through. The nearby restaurant, "Hurly Burly," served delectable pizza, offering a delightful dining experience for a reasonable price. The option to use bicycles provided a convenient means to explore the enchanting walled city of Ferrara, just a short ride away.While the accommodations may lean towards the simpler side, the warmth of the owner and staff compensated for any lack of luxury. An ideal stopover after a long journey, the inn's location, not far from the highway, was a convenient choice. Plus, the opportunity to relax in a cozy bar on-site added a touch of comfort to the overall stay.
